Chelcie’s Golden Root Spice Latte

Chelcie’s Golden Root Spice Latte

The Fall Equinox always feels like such a reset for me. It’s this moment of balance, equal day and night right before we fully shift into the cozy rhythm of autumn. September is such a month of transition, and I notice my body craving more warmth, grounding, and nourishment. That’s why I’ve been making this Golden Root Spice Latte on repeat. It’s soothing, spiced just right, and packed with ingredients that warm you from the inside out, support digestion, and keep your skin and energy thriving as the seasons change.

Ingredients & Benefits

  • 1 cup almond milk (A dairy-free base rich in vitamin E to support skin and immune health.)

  • 1 tsp Sera & Mattina Collagen (Boosts skin elasticity, hair strength, and joint support, keeping you glowing as the weather cools.)

  • ½ tsp turmeric (Natural anti-inflammatory and immune booster that gives this latte its golden glow.)

  • ½ tsp ground ginger (Supports digestion, circulation, and warmth for the cooler months.)

  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon (Balances blood sugar and adds grounding, cozy fall vibes.)

  • ½ tsp coconut oil (Healthy fats for satiety, glowing skin, and enhanced nutrient absorption.)

  • Pinch of crushed peppercorn (Enhances absorption of turmeric’s active compound, curcumin.)

How to Make It

  1. Warm almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Whisk in turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and peppercorn until smooth and fragrant.

  3. Stir in coconut oil until melted and combined.

  4. Remove from heat and mix in Sera & Mattina Collagen until dissolved.

  5. Pour into your favorite mug, take a breath, and sip slowly.

 A Seasonal Reminder

September is really a month of shifts and rhythms. Just like the leaves, our bodies thrive when we honor them with small, consistent rituals. I love letting this cup be my daily grounding, warming, hydrating, and reminding me to lean into the season with balance and ease.

The best part? It’s completely caffeine-free, so I can sip it in the morning, afternoon, or evening. I still get all the nourishing benefits of hydration, digestion support, skin health, and a gentle sense of warmth without the buzz. It’s a simple ritual that works with my body anytime I need it.

Cheers to slowing down and savoring the season.
